is a hidden SecondLife gem.
I am fortunate to have been invited to exhibit as part of their SL Artists showcase.
I uploaded some of the Wales Coastline series.
So I went to
A Beach In Wales
and shot some footage by way of celebration.
As well as the
'so standard its obvious and goes without saying'
esoteric ritual ceremonies occurring in such places,
The Kohl Club Crypt
has sufficient space to exhibit paintings
and video-prims of slideshows of paintings.
So that's how it's going to be.
Thanks to the combination extreme physical fatigue and dreadful boredom resulting of Covid-19,
I now have a new gallery situated in a prestigious region of SecondLife.

NOVEMBER 2022 EXHIBITION
The exhibition is in two sections.
Influence:
Photographs of where I live
provide visual, textural, atmospheric theme.
Outcome:
Imagery generated from same theme.
How environment influences Art and Mindset.
How it Feels to inhabit such locations.
Can those feelings, that mind, be evoked
through the visual imagery inspired by those places?
In- and Out-
Positing a question;
What is the relativity of -Fluency and -Come?
We do not currently use the antiquated word 'Outfluence'.
We use modern Out-Flow for plumbing, water-control systems, sewerage.
The word 'Income' signifies how much money we make.
'Out-Flow' sometimes also refers to costs & spending within business jargon.
While balancing our books stabilises our lives,
these themes are only there
because the necessity of trade, of commerce, of retail
involved in Urban Living:
the URBAN ARCHITECTURE & GRIMY ENVIRONMENT
is the main focus of what this project is about.

UPDATE: 8.10.2022
SAT gallery was on a rental parcel.
I missed paying the rent.
The whole place got deleted.
Gutted.

Problems and Solutions.
A Vampires Garden exhibition had 66 pictures. One picture per prim = 66 Prims. That's a lot. Too many. For that many images its much better to make a YouTube video with a watermark to copyright the art and use the Prim Media in SL to display the YouTube video. 66 pictures = 1 Prim. It's better than a SL slideshow as it creates less lag and means the YouTube video exists even if the build gets deleted. That's how I'm going to work from now on.
Video prims can be exhibited in The Kohl Club. Thankfully it's located on another parcel adjoining the first. Hence the confusion when I thought the rent was paid. The rental vendor does not differentiate between two parcels when they are both rented by one person. We live and learn and that's a win. Try to find a better landlord, one who allows live music gigs on their estate.
UPDATE: 31.10.2022
YouTube 18-rated content is not compatible with SecondLife Media Prims. The Vampires Garden video is 18+ due to graphic content involving sexuality and post-violence. Bodily fluids including your mouth watering at such luscious visual imagery. However, the YouTube video does make it possible to display far more of the 66 pictures from the Vampires Garden batch which got uploaded to SecondLife. There are a lot of them. Those 66 pics will be put on SecondLife slideshows after all.
There are also exhibition catalogues, currently hiding somewhere in my inventory waiting for the day-of-focus it will take to find them and display them in the gallery space.

It's 2022.
On 22nd February this year,
at 22 minutes past ten at night,
22 hundred hours by military reckoning,
the maths code for the moment was

Never again to be repeated
A turning point in history.
The number two of course signifies partnership in numerology.
There are 22 Major Arcana in the Tarot.
(23 symbolises close-of-cycle / start-of-cycle).
So obviously it seems only right
I should find my way back
to the castle at the centre of the goblin city
and once again immersed in SecondLife.
It has been a busy year and it took until mid-year,
as symbolic a turning point as the first mentioned,
to log-in and be blissed.
I began building.
Keeping it simple.
Brutalist concrete architecture
modelled vaguely on cathedrals
and similar spaces & places. `
I re-trod what little old ground still remains.
I discovered the very best Goth club in SecondLife: Black Division.
I resumed friendship with some old buddies who have been busy in my absence.
I made friends and chatted with, learned much from, an artist whose work I have admired for quite some time yet previously held in awe beyond my ability to communicate.
Of course it being SecondLife making available that which is less than regularly possible in the drab real world I got distracted almost immediately by a couple of brief yet intense flings with a couple of couples along the way. Probably I shouldn't mention about that other than the numbers add up to the theme, so it counts for something.
