The following is copypasted from a private chat with one of the writers from the SL Writers Project whose short story is in the first edition 2024. I have made the writers name anonymous here. Raising awareness of the impact Sylvia Woodham is having on fledgling writers as a direct result of her Writers Critiques.
snakeappletree: Hi, did you get any of the notecards to update you about the SL Writers project? It has been published.

Sylvia is no longer working for the project due to her lies, aggression, and manipulation.
Contributor: Hey. Yeah. Congratulations on publishing. Been kind of busy and I haven’t really been paying much attention since it didn’t really involve me.
snakeappletree: Best way to be. Thanks for the congrats. If you give me a postal address, I will send you a writer’s copy gratis. Can be a PO box if you prefer anonymity.
Contributor: Oh, so is everyone in the writers group getting a copy?
snakeappletree: No.
Contributor: So why am I getting one?
snakeappletree: For contributing; you sat in a workshop at the SL Writers office at Book Island and sent us a copy of your story, so it went in the book. That was the deal there. If that has been a situation of wires being crossed, notecards were sent from the group regarding retractions.
Contributor: Was it? Thought it wasn’t good enough, especially given the feedback at the time.
snakeappletree: It’s superb! Sylvia got herself banned from Book Island for being ‘aggressively controlling’ when the admin there requested she be less abusive with her feedback. I’m very sorry if you got the impression your story was not good enough for the book. It’s actually one of the stronger stories in it.
Contributor: If you say so. Did you edit it at all?
snakeappletree: I don’t recall. It is very strong. I enjoyed it very much and can’t wait until you make time to write a sequel!
Contributor: Ok. So I get to continue working on it?
snakeappletree: Yes, please! It’s awesome.
I will, after I have found it in my records. add to this blog a copypaste of the warnings she received on the second occasion she was told to tone down her aggressive critique by the forum admin. She was a guest there, not officially working for those workshops. Her reaction of aggressive and controlling of behaviour resulted in her ban from the forum by its admin. She is now advertising that she runs her own writers critiques workshops.
I am exposing this because I am a month and a half into being harassed and lied about by her. She has made my life hell. She has contacted my friends attempting to persuade them I am the devil incarnate. They have ignored her.
She is doing it because she is trying to justify her actions of attempting to publish the SLWritersProject short story collection by herself, after she was fired from working on it. Her stated reasons are that I said things I did not actually ever say and because she is exorcising her dead great grandmother who I am a manifestation of. That is what I am dealing with here.
My objective has never changed; a community project, to publish a collection of short stories from the writers of SecondLife.
Antisocial behaviour and targeted harassment is unwelcome in positive, stable communities.
